Spill Media trainees have recently been busy in production for a short drama, as
part of our SoapBocs project. The challenge – to script, film and edit a short
film in 5 days! The challenge was met, and with filming now complete, 'Nobody's
Child' is in the early stages of post-production.
The project was a great opportunity for the Spill trainees to hone their
skills behind the camera, with some fantastic performances on camera from the
great talent at Shell Shock Theatre.
10 Spill trainees worked on the film, which gave them the opportunity to work
on a project from initial concepts through to development, production and
post-production. Ben one of the trainee's said:
"The experience the SoapBocs project has given me is invaluable. As well as
production skills, we gained skills such as team-work and collaboration."
